Derby Types

DerbyFish supports several derby formats to suit different competition styles. Standard derbies run for a set time period with a single target species. Multi-species derbies award points across multiple fish types. Slam derbies challenge anglers to catch as many different species as possible. Marathon derbies run over extended periods with rolling leaderboards. Each type has unique scoring rules and prize distribution models. Captains select the derby type during creation and can customize rules within each format.
